Strata Mirror is defined by a sequence of layered contours following an
asymmetrical, organic outline. Rounded bands of blue-green patina
alternate with finely stepped, polished surfaces, recalling the exposed
strata of a landscape. The changing width and depth of the frame create
a rhythm of reflection and shadow, while mottled, earthy tones contrast
with the clarity of the polished metal. Surrounding the mirrored center,
these successive layers form a sculptural relief whose character shifts
with the light and the viewer’s position.
